How we work
Our model of philanthropy is to tackle the root causes of cycles of disadvantage and vulnerability affecting those without a voice or struggling to tell their story, creating lasting solutions to the most complex social challenges. We work with our partners to give the time, space, support and freedom to tackle these daunting issues in ways that go beyond the usual sticking plasters.
We work with multi-agency partnerships and local communities to be a catalyst for innovation and system change.
We also contribute to local and national strategies to disrupt cycles of disadvantage and trauma for individuals and families and across generations.
The For Baby's Sake Programme
The For Baby’s Sake programme is helping mothers and fathers to bring an end to domestic abuse and give their babies the best possible start in life.
For Baby’s Sake takes a whole-family approach that deals with the entire cycle and history of domestic violence and abuse, identifying and directly addressing the trauma or traumas that lie at the heart of the problem. The end result is that both mother and father play a positive role in raising their child, within a relationship or outside, turning one, two, three or even more lives around, and a cycle broken.

Work with us
Domestic abuse has a devastating ripple effect across families, generations and society. The For Baby’s Sake programme offers a genuinely new unique way to break the cycle. Rolling it out requires pioneering partners, including local councils, philanthropists and charitable trusts, as well as ambassadors who can use their voice and influence to champion the cause. Together, we can empower families to change their life chances and give babies the best start in life.
