For Baby’s Sake - first programme of its kind to ‘fill an important gap in provision’
We are proud to publish an independent, in-depth evaluation of the For Baby’s Sake programme by an evaluation team led by King’s College London and including academics from University of Warwick, University of Central Lancashire, University of Cambridge and McMaster University, Canada.
The academic evaluation team have identified the For Baby’s Sake programme as the first programme of its kind to ‘fill an important gap in provision’ through its ‘unique approach’, working with the whole family and starting in pregnancy.
The evaluation report, published on 28 May 2020, is the result of a four year study of the operation of the For Baby’s Sake programme in two prototype sites in Hertfordshire and London. The academic evaluation team has found that the programme’s approach is ‘overcoming key limitations’ to responding to domestic abuse.
